Cohort playtime accumulated or not?

Hello,
Sorry if this is a stupid question but, I'm wondering how cohort data is measured.
Hypothetically if I look on May 1st and have Playtime/User at 2000 seconds on Day0 and then 3000 seconds on Day1.
Does this mean that new users on May 1st played for 2000 seconds/user and that the same users (however many returned) played 3000 seconds/user on May 2nd? E.g. it measures that individual day and doesn't account for the playtime on Day0?

Hi Rasmus! Sorry for the late response! There are no stupid questions! It just means we have not explained it well enough!
I've asked and I think you are right. It does measure individually, and your assumptions are correct. It can be normal that playtime is higher day 1 compared to day 0, as the users would not have had a full day possibly to play (e.g installing in the evening and playing the next day).
Hope this makes sense, let me know if you have more questions!
