You are showing screenshots from our legacy Explore Tool (v2.5). That version has certain limitations related to event filters and reporting count of users.
I highly recommend that you use the new V3.0 Explore Tool. In that tool you can follow these actions to see user count with applied event-filters.
- select event category (the event-type you need the filters from)
- select aggregation "unique users"
- click "event" filters to specify the event-filters needed.
The "group by" being active should be Time(day) and would then still report unique users per day (DAU).
You can then alter "group by" to whatever dimension/filter needed (like showing bar-charts for each country). Note that the metric name is no longer DAU (Daily Active Users) as it's not per day. It would be "unique users per country for the period selected". :)
